The CAD-LP district heating system: an integrated, innovative and eco-friendly solution

In Geneva, in the heart of the new urban centre Lancy – Pont-Rouge, Bouygues Energies & Ser-vices has created a model solution for energy production aimed at supplying heating and cooling to an entire neighbourhood. Today, Bouygues Energies & Services and its partner Energie 360° jointly operate the installation and supply the neighbourhood with over 90% renewable energy.

Multitech services for Swiss Quality Testing Services (SQTS)

Bouygues Energies & Services installed the ventilation, heating, cooling and sanitary systems and building automation technology at the SQTS premises

Plaines-du-Loup Eco-District

Above Lausanne, the 30-hectare Plaines-du-Loup eco-district has the ambition to welcome around 8,000 residents and create 3,000 jobs by 2034. The project intends to use cutting-edge technology while also meeting the city’s environmental, social and economic needs.

Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL)

EPFL asked Bouygues Energies & Services to manage and undertake the complete renewal of its heating and cooling infrastructure. Their goal: moving away from fossil fuels towards 100% re-newable energy. In its capacity as general contractor, Bouygues Energies & Services was re-sponsible for all aspects of the project, from design to implementation.

Eco-Hotel Ucliva

Ucliva was the first eco hotel in Switzerland, thanks to its use of natural resources for heating generation. To ensure guests have a pleasant stay at all times, Bouygues Energies & Services supported the Hotel Ucliva with various renovation work services - from installation of pellet heating to the electrical installation of a vehicle and bicycle charging station.

Suvretta House, St. Moritz

Suvretta House offers its guests a luxurious stay with everything their hearts desire. Bouygues Energies & Services replaced the outdated sanitary installations and the fittings in the bathrooms to ensure this also remains the case in future.

Hotel Krebs Interlaken

Hospitality takes pride of place for Hotel Krebs, which is steeped in tradition. To ensure the guest experience is as pleasant as possible, the decision was taken to provide 44 rooms with individual air-conditioning as part of a partial expansion and in cooperation with Bouygues Energies & Services.

Swissôtel Kursaal Bern

The sanitary installations were modernised at the former Kursaal Hotel Allegro - now Swissôtel Kursaal Bern. For example, walk-in showers were installed. During the project, the greatest challenges of the project were the restricted preparation time, the high demands for precision, and ensuring the hotel's operation could continue to run smoothly.

Hotel Pellas Vella

The Hotel Pellas stands for unforgettable hours in even more unforgettable surroundings. To guarantee this well-being comfort for guests both in winter as well as in summer, Bouygues Energies & Services installed new ventilation systems. There was not a lot of time available to do so - but thanks to meticulous planning and perfect workflows, everything passed off smoothly and according to plan.

Hotel-Restaurant Sonne St. Moritz

Particularly great attention is devoted to the subject of ecology in many different ways in Hotel Sonne. The heating, ventilation and sanitary systems were replaced as part of a partial demolition. Thanks to these conversions and renewals, the hotel has an environmentally-friendly infrastructure.

Hotel Schweizerhof Lenzerheide

The Hotel Schweizerhof sets great store by a good ecological balance sheet and optimal energy use. To this end, Bouygues Energies & Services replaced the ventilation and heating regulatory system. Having done so, it took care to demonstrate, by measuring the heating and electricity use, that the renovation measures had achieved massive savings.

Bürgenstock Resort, Obbürgen

The climatic demands on hotel rooms are not equivalent to those in a health resort or health area, which is why Bouygues Energies & Services relies on customisation. The current work specifications include maintenance of the ventilation, heating and cooling systems of the tennis halls as well as maintenance of the ventilation and air-conditioning systems of the Grand Residence suites. Thanks to multitec, we can, as we choose, include whatever trade resources are needed, which in combination is a great advantage.

The Specialised Working Group BIM/VDC

For almost two years, the Specialised Working Group BIM/VDC of Bouygues Energies & Services in Swit-zerland had only held virtual meetings via Teams. The first physical meeting since 2019 took place on the premises of Empa. Bouygues Energies & Services enjoys an enlightening, fruitful partnership with the research institution of the ETH Domain.

The inauguration of EFPL’s thermal power plant took place today in the presence of Martin Vetterli, EPFL president and Vassilis Venizelos, State Councillor for the Canton of Vaud. Bouygues Energies & Services is extremely proud to have successfully completed this comprehensive modernisation of EPFL’s thermal infrastructure.

Prime Tower - Commitment to security

In order to prepare our trainees as effectively as possible for the qualification process, we run mock exams in all of our regions. These are aimed at making trainees aware of the time factor and preparing them as well as we possibly can for their theory and practical exams. We held another intensive study week with a similar focus in February 2023.
