Thanks to many years of cooperation based on trust with the customer, Bouygues Energies & Services was able to keep refining the already existing communications system and expand it with the aim of achieving ultimate system stability and ensuring safe and reliable alerts for technical and personal alarms. This is where the MobiCall alarm server from New Voice is used. The alarm server was installed on a new appliance server in the form of the new 11.0 release. Personal alarms activated via Aastra DECT mobile handsets are signalled to a defined group of people together with all details of the alarm activation, the person who activated it and the location, with alerts communicated via different media: DECT and GSM telephone calls, messaging and text. The Certas external escalation centre is also alerted. Detailed reporting records all actions, personal alarms and any system failures from all areas.
Different escalation scenarios ensure that no damage is caused to people or technical equipment. Administration of the overall alarm solution and the communications platform lies in the hands of the customer.
