The seasoning production facilities were modernised and the electronic components – such as main distribution, switch cabinets, control and instrumentation technology, pneumatic and electrical installations – were replaced and brought to the state-of-the-art. The plant was converted whilst remaining operational. Excellent project planning was therefore a pre-requisite. 

The modernisation not only ensures trouble-free operation and reproducible and efficient seasoning production, but also complete product traceability and has now made targeted data evaluations possible. The iQOS® system software lies at the heart of the plant. It represents the most modern standard in process control technology and is a leader in the field of metering and mixing systems.
