Swissgrid substation

The national grid company Swissgrid was able to start operating the 380 kV substation La Bâtiaz in Martigny after around two years of building, installation and commissioning time – thanks to Bouygues E&S EnerTrans Ltd., which was tasked with general project management.

Swissgrid Ltd

The old 220-kV outdoor substation in Veytaux that was built at the beginning of the 1970s was replaced by a new 380/220-kV substation. The new 220-kV substation is connected to the existing hydroelectric power plant Veytaux I (FHML) with a production/pump capacity of 240 MW.

BLS AG

Bouygues E&S EnerTrans Ltd. has built a multi-voltage test facility (MSPA) at the Spiez site for BLS AG, one of the largest transport companies in Switzerland. The facility is used for the maintenance of BLS Cargo AG multi-system locomotives.

Alpiq Niedergösgen

Alpiq commissioned its first power-to-heat plant in Switzerland in Niedergösgen in 2017 – thanks to Bouygues E&S EnerTrans Ltd., which was tasked with the overall project management. Alpiq will use the plant to provide negative balancing power among other services.

Aare Versorgungs AG (AVAG)

The 50 kV standard overhead power line Kappel – Oberbuchsiten reached the limits of its capacity and age after around 40 years. To maintain the operation, a new 50 kV line connection was established between the Gösgen and Oberbuchsiten substations.

Aare Versorgungs AG (AVAG)

The 50 kV overhead line between the Flumenthal substation, Flumenthal power station and the Luterbach substation was relaid underground on behalf of Aare Versorgungs AG (AVAG). In addition to the project and construction management, Bouygues E&S EnerTrans Ltd. also acquired all the rights to the transmission of electricity.

Gerlafingen Steelworks

As a result of a short circuit on the factory premises of the steelworks, the 33-year-old transformer was damaged to such an extent that it had to be replaced. After a prescribed runtime of 36 hours and checking all protection and monitoring devices, the new transformer was commissioned just ten days after the damage occurred.

Implementation of a virtual reception solution for Allreal Office AG

Bouygues Energies & Services was commissioned with designing a virtual reception solution. It had to pay close attention to the visitor guidance system, support the workflow and optimise the digital infrastructure for building management in order to be able to offer a holistic experience.

A modern, centralised telephone and alarm solution tailored to the needs of the homes

Bouygues Energies & Services was hired to perform various tasks. One of these involved replacing the outdated telephone systems with a modern, centralised solution.

New communication platform for Bucher Leichtbau AG

ICT specialists from Bouygues Energies & Services implemented a communication solution for Bucher Leichtbau that meets the demands of the digital age and company’s exacting requirements.

The CAD-LP district heating system: an integrated, innovative and eco-friendly solution

In Geneva, in the heart of the new urban centre Lancy – Pont-Rouge, Bouygues Energies & Ser-vices has created a model solution for energy production aimed at supplying heating and cooling to an entire neighbourhood. Today, Bouygues Energies & Services and its partner Energie 360° jointly operate the installation and supply the neighbourhood with over 90% renewable energy.

New telecommunications solution for Media Focus GmbH

The IT specialists at Bouygues Energies & Services had the opportunity to implement a new communication solution for Media Focus Schweiz GmbH, a company working in advertising, communications, sponsorship and media research.

For almost two years, the Specialised Working Group BIM/VDC of Bouygues Energies & Services in Swit-zerland had only held virtual meetings via Teams. The first physical meeting since 2019 took place on the premises of Empa. Bouygues Energies & Services enjoys an enlightening, fruitful partnership with the research institution of the ETH Domain.

Bouygues E&S Prozessautomation has received ISO standard 27001 certification. The standard confirms that a company has comprehensive measures aimed at protecting information and data. It was awarded following an intense year of preparations. The specialists from Olten are thereby one of the first industrial companies in Switzerland to obtain it.

In order to prepare our trainees as effectively as possible for the qualification process, we run mock exams in all of our regions. These are aimed at making trainees aware of the time factor and preparing them as well as we possibly can for their theory and practical exams. We held another intensive study week with a similar focus in February 2023.
