This joint project between Swiss Life and Zurich Airport will see the construction of a building complex with over 180,000 m2 of floor space, including shops, offices, an art gallery, a medical centre belonging to the Zurich University Hospital, two Hyatt Group hotels, a congress centre and numerous boutiques and parking areas.

EPFL asked Bouygues Energies & Services to manage and undertake the complete renewal of its heating and cooling infrastructure. Their goal: moving away from fossil fuels towards 100% re-newable energy. In its capacity as general contractor, Bouygues Energies & Services was re-sponsible for all aspects of the project, from design to implementation.

The Hotel Post was taken over by the owner of the Hotel Edelweiss in 2019. Several modifications were needed in the area of high- and low-voltage and ICT in the course of this takeover. Our employees implemented these reliably to ensure simplified joint administration of the two hotels.

Bouygues Energies & Services Hotel Elite, Biel
The Art Deco Hotel Elite in Biel consumes considerable quantities of electricity for all services, amenities and services. To cut these costs, a 50 kWp photovoltaic system was ordered, among other things. This PV system can produce enough electricity during the day to cover the greater part of the hotel's operations.

Ucliva was the first eco hotel in Switzerland, thanks to its use of natural resources for heating generation. To ensure guests have a pleasant stay at all times, Bouygues Energies & Services supported the Hotel Ucliva with various renovation work services - from installation of pellet heating to the electrical installation of a vehicle and bicycle charging station.

During the project, the greatest challenges of the project were the restricted preparation time, the high demands for precision, and ensuring the hotel's operation could continue to run smoothly.

To guarantee this well-being comfort for guests both in winter as well as in summer, Bouygues Energies & Services installed new ventilation systems. There was not a lot of time available to do so - but thanks to meticulous planning and perfect workflows, everything passed off smoothly and according to plan.

Bouygues Energies & Services Hotel-Restaurant Sonne St. Moritz
Particularly great attention is devoted to the subject of ecology in many different ways in Hotel Sonne. The heating, ventilation and sanitary systems were replaced as part of a partial demolition. Thanks to these conversions and renewals, the hotel has an environmentally-friendly infrastructure.
